End of Year Movie Night

Room 5 and Room 6 were buddy classes this year. They combined to create a movie night to finish off the year. Parents were invited to share in the night and what fantastic support they gave. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Maths in Room 5

We have been learning about volume. We explored using water and containers. We filled up containers. We used words like full, empty, half full, pouring. We counted how many little containers to fill a big container.

Humpty Dumpty

We read the rhyme

                                      Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall

                                      Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

                                      All the King’s horses and all the King’s men

                                      Couldn’t put Humpty together again.

We made our own eggs sitting on walls.
